Vendor Code of Conduct

← BACK1. Purpose
This Code governs all vendors listed on the CTPA marketplace. Vendors must comply with this Code as a condition of listing. Violations may result in listing removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
2. Accurate Listings
- All listing titles, descriptions, prices, and availability must be accurate and up to date.
- Misleading claims, inflated pricing, or counterfeit goods are strictly prohibited.
- Photos must represent the actual product or service offered. Photos must not be copied from the internet and must be copyright-free (vendor-owned or properly licensed).
- Copyright liability: If any copyright issue arises from a vendor's uploaded images or descriptions, the vendor is solely liable and responsible for all damages. CTPA assumes no responsibility for vendor-uploaded images or descriptions.
2a. Payments, Refunds & Fulfilment
- Vendors are solely responsible for all payments received through their own payment gateways.
- Vendors are solely responsible for refunds, replacements, returns, and any post-sale support of goods or services they sell.
- CTPA is not involved in any financial transaction for goods or services sold by vendors and accepts no liability for vendor transactions.
3. KYC & Registration
- All vendors must complete KYC verification before any listing goes live.
- Business registration documents must be authentic and current.
- Vendors must notify CTPA within 14 days of any change to their business registration or ownership.

4. Enquiry Response
Vendors must respond to enquiries submitted through the platform within 3 business days. Persistent non-response may result in listing suspension.
5. Pricing & Payments
- All prices must be displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise agreed.
- Vendors may not charge CTPA members more than their standard public pricing.
- Any discounts advertised to CTPA members must be honoured.
6. Prohibited Content
- Listings for illegal goods or services
- Discriminatory language or content
- Unsolicited marketing or spam to enquirers
- Listings that compete directly with CTPA's own programmes without prior agreement
7. Enforcement
CTPA reserves the right to remove listings, suspend, or permanently ban vendors who violate this Code. Vendors may appeal decisions within 14 days by writing to vendors@ctpa.ca.
