Buyer Disclaimer

1. CTPA Marketplace Role

The CTPA marketplace is a listing platform that connects buyers with independent third-party vendors. CTPA does not sell, manufacture, ship, or fulfil any goods or services listed by vendors.

2. Payments

All financial transactions for goods and services purchased through the marketplace occur directly between the buyer and the vendor, via the vendor’s own payment gateway. CTPA is not a party to any sale and does not process, hold, or route buyer payments.

3. Refunds & Replacements

Vendors are solely responsible for refunds, replacements, returns, warranty claims, and any post-sale support relating to the goods or services they sell. Buyers must raise all such requests directly with the vendor.

4. Images & Descriptions

Listing photos, descriptions, specifications, and pricing are provided by vendors. CTPA does not verify or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or copyright status of vendor-uploaded content. If a copyright issue arises from any vendor-uploaded image or description, the vendor is solely liable for damages — CTPA takes no responsibility.

5. No Endorsement

Listing on the CTPA marketplace does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or quality guarantee by CTPA. Buyers should perform their own due diligence before purchasing.

6. Disputes

Any dispute relating to a purchase — including but not limited to non-delivery, defective goods, misrepresentation, refunds, or warranty — must be resolved directly between the buyer and the vendor. CTPA is not a party to such disputes and accepts no liability for their outcome.

7. Reporting Violations

If a vendor violates the Vendor Code of Conduct — for example, by posting counterfeit goods, infringing copyrighted images, or refusing to honour a legitimate refund — buyers may report the vendor to vendors@ctpa.ca. CTPA may remove listings or suspend vendors found in violation, but this does not create any liability of CTPA toward the buyer.
